Day 1: Chandigarh to Katra (Approx. 8-9 Hours Drive)

Start your journey early in the morning from Chandigarh and enjoy a scenic drive towards Katra. You can take a short break near Jammu for lunch before continuing your journey. Upon reaching Katra in the evening, check into your hotel and take some rest. Later, explore the local market where you can buy Bhaint (offerings) and Prasad for the temple. Have an early dinner and get a good night's sleep to prepare for the trek the next day.

Day 2: Vaishno Devi Bhawan Darshan

Wake up early and begin your sacred journey to Maa Vaishno Devi’s Bhawan. You can either trek to the temple or opt for a battery car, palki, or pony service. The trek usually takes around 6-7 hours, but the spiritual atmosphere makes it a fulfilling experience. After reaching the Bhawan, have a peaceful darshan and also visit the Ardhkuwari cave. If time and energy permit, head further up to Bhairon Mandir for blessings. Return to Katra by late evening and relax after a spiritually enriching day.

Day 3: Return to Chandigarh

After a restful night, you can visit nearby temples in Katra, such as Raghunath Mandir or Nau Devi Mandir, before departing. Have breakfast and start your return journey to Chandigarh. You may stop at Jammu or Udhampur for lunch before reaching Chandigarh by evening, marking the end of this divine pilgrimage.
